↖ Step 1. Collect Grime-Encrusted Salvage

To begin with, collect your Grime-Encrusted Salvage by picking up mobs or bosses around Gnomeregan. These drops are easy to find out as they often come during raids.

 

↖ Step 2. Use the SalvageMatic 9000

You can find the SalvageMatic 9000 machine in the safe room accessed after defeating Grubas. Load your salvage into it so that it starts the questline; however, you realize that excessive grime has caused it not to work at all.

 

↖ Step 3: Repair Quest with Ziri

Search for Ziri who will give you a task of repairing that machine. You need to have:

• 10 Mithril Bars
  
• 5 Greater Mystic Essence
  
• 3 GG-12x9 Cartridge Fuses
  
• 1 Pristine IC-G7 Core Processor
  

 

A friend worth his or her salt or Auction House is where Mithril Bars and Greater Mystic Essence could be found. Meanwhile, cartridge fuses drop from trash mobs or bosses but the core processor requires so much more of your effort.

 

↖ Step 4. Hunt Down the Techbot

Outside the instance, go up the walkway and turn left sharply to encounter the Techbot and defeat it which will drop Corroded G7 Core Processor.

 

↖ Step 5: Booty Bay and Quadrangulation

Return to Booty Bay and talk to Scooty who will give you Quadrangulation mission. In Kalimdor across four different locations, you have to use quadrangulation devices as follows:

• Desolace
  
• Feralas
  
• Dustwallow Marsh

Once you are done with all quadrangulation sites, return for one last time to Booty Bay and finish this questline with Scooty. Then move on a trip into Feralas Island of Dread in order to get Charged Void Core by killing Naga and grabbing Spent Void Core. But this is not over until the shadow figure appears before you offering Mote of Darkness for final assembly.

 

↖ Step 7. Assemble Your Components

Now take all components including any additional Greater Mystic Essence back finally head off towards Ziri located in Gnomeregan where they can be handed over along with fixing SalvageMatic 9000.
