Are you ready to embark on a swashbuckling adventure in the sandy dunes of Tanaris? We've been plundering the Lost Rigger Cove, it's like we are picking SoD gold from trees. In just 10 hours, We've gone from a modest 3K gold to a king's ransom of 4.5K gold. That is one whopping haul of over 1.5K+ gold all because of those damn pirates in Tanaris!

↖ First Pull: Location

First things first – we dock at Lost Rigger Cove in Tanaris. Who are we concentrating on? On workshop boat pirates that have levels of 44 and 45. For this heist we have with me none other than  Wind Serpent from Twitch Prime – my ever reliable pet with useful range attack.

 

Well here is the strategy:

• Body pull the initial mobs;
• Make use of pet's ranged attack to aggro more pirates;
• Limit your pull to two Freebooters as they can be ranged attackers and hurt pretty bad;
• During mid-pull, lay down a Frost Trap;
• Master the two-step ledge jump for optimal positioning.

Now If Freebooters end up being part of your pull don't worry about it; quickly deal with them then. While our serpent has Dive Rank One capability for example, feel free to bring along any wolf or cat that has Dash Rank Two if you want an extra speed boost.

 

Talents? They're flexible depending on whether you are a beast master or survivalist so just come as you are. However, lately we have been trying out Lone Wolf which seems to take off about 30 seconds to a minute from each pull.

 

So what exactly can we get from these humanoids? Expect epic items such as Gutripper and Flurry Axe, blue items like Orgon Sash and Journeyman Backpacks, not forgetting mountains of grays and greens. Be on the lookout for special drops such as Pirate Foot Locker with Captain's Keys and Mage Weave.

 

When you are left with only level 45s for mobs, put Serpent Sting then let loose with a Multi-Shot to make maximum damage.

 

↖ Second Pull: Footlockers & Captain's Chest

Act II: Stealthily coming from the back of the ship will reduce unnecessary aggro. Essentially, we want to pick up Swash Bucklers without being dazed – that would ruin our fun.

 

So This Is How It Goes:

• To initiate this pull, use Eye of the Beast to approach it from behind;
• Go ahead and aggro first pack while keeping an eye on that 5.5-sec timer;
• Try not get dazed (or when it happens just backpedal out of danger).

In some cases, there will be respawns. Don't lose your cool; simply add them up in your rotation and watch them stumble into your Frost Trap.

 

Now let's talk about treasure – Captain's FootLocker. This valuable box might contain quest items worth four gold or even better – Captain's Key. The key fits another chest full of guaranteed greens and maybe Southsea Lamp mace which is so much sought after.

 

Pro tip: Save those Captain's Keys in your footlocker until you're ready to raid the chest en masse since it respawns every 20-30 seconds.

 

Make sure you remember those little pieces of the atlas! Combine uppers, middles, and lowers into a treasure map which leads to Quo's Treasure Chest – another good quest in Tanaris that lies deep below.

 

But one warning: when you die here, it will be seen as a long corpse run. So stay on your toes!

 

↖ Third Pull: Symphony of lightning and loot

Last, let's discuss the third pull. This is where the magic happens—the area where gold accumulates. Just imagine this: mobs respawning like clockwork, Eye of the Beast enabling your inner beast to growl at its most ferocious state, then bang! You are leading your group onto a ship filled with pirates whose only focus is loots.

 

Here are play-by-play steps:

1. Step back until the mobs come alive again.
2. Use Eye of the Beast to take point.
3. Pirate vessel ascension — skillful strafe-jumping while avoiding dazes.
4. Summon lightning bolts on distant enemies.
5. Do not draw too close at first but then make them drawn using an escape trick that looks rather clever.
6. As we have said before, lure other pirates in addition to those more dangerous ones who could mess up your initial pull if given even a slight chance by focusing on less perilous ones during our first pull itself.

And should your pet become prey for these scallywags, fake a resurrection so that its unit frame disappears and add 30% damage bonus! The loot? Four South Sea Lambs selling for 75 gold each; many Kris' of various enchantments; Black Forge boots (a warrior's dream); and Wade's supply boxes turning into pure profit.

 

↖ The Booty Report

Let us do some calculations now, within those 10 hours:

First 3-Hour Session	50 gold from vendor trash plus more silver coins (raw)
Second 4-Hour Session	54 gold as above
Final 3-Hour Session	Another 50 gold in the bank

This is 150g worth of stuff not even good enough for AH—imagine the total with all rare goods being factored in!

 

↖ Cuergo's Treasure Map

Now, let us unscramble Cuergo's Treasure Map as no pirate adventure would be complete without a treasure hunt. This isn't one of your usual quests; it takes some brains, guile, and maybe even a trusty sidekick.

 

Here is how to read your treasure map: 

• Get the map from those nifty little pirate footlockers.
• Right-click  it and begin a quest full of riddles that will lead to Cuergo's hidden treasure.
• Defeat one out of five big mobs to get a key—you need to prepare yourself for bloodshed here.
• Using kiting strategically and feigning death just before you reset mobs leading to your victory price are excellent moves for this.

Pro Tip: Send your pet on a distraction mission while you loot the chest for maximum efficiency. And don't go it alone—bring a friend to share in the glory (and the heavy lifting).
